Actually, there have been many actresses in the Indian cinema world who became famous for their art and acting. Birth and Childhood

Born on 23 March 1987 in Bhambla district near Manali in the Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh, Kangana Ranaut's father Amardeep is a businessman, and her mother Asha works as a school teacher. Kangana Ranaut's grandfather was an IAS officer.

Education

Kangana's early life was spent in Dehradun where she completed high school from DAV.

Along with studies, Kangana used to participate in sports like debate, speech, and basketball.

After completing her school education, Kangana pursued further education at Science College, Shimla.

Journey from theater and modeling to Bollywood actress

Kangana was associated with the Smita Theater Group of Delhi in her initial days. This theater group is run by Arvind Gaur. Kangana learned the nuances of acting under the same group.

Apart from this, Kangana was admitted to the Elite School of Modeling.

Along with this, Kangana also honed her skills as a Kathak dancer.

After this, Kangana left Delhi for Mayanagari Mumbai and in 2005 started living in a flat on Yari Road in Versova.

Her first film Gangster was released in 2006 in which Kangana played the lead role.

The film was a critical success and brought Kangana into the limelight and she received the Filmfare Award for Best Debut for the film.

Along with this, Kangana also worked in films like Life in a Metro (2007), Fashion (2008), Raaz: The Mystery Continues (2009), Kites (2010), and Knock Out (2010). Rihanna's character in the 2010 film 'Once Upon a Time in Mumbai' with Ajay Devgan also attracted people's attention.

After this, in 2011, she acted in the film Tanu Weds Manu directed by Aanand L Rai, in which R Madhavan acted opposite her. This film was highly appreciated in India and other countries and the songs of this film became popular in India for a long time Kangana also got a different success and recognition with this film.

After this, Kangana also attracted a different attention in the role of Kaya in Krrish 3 with Hrithik Roshan in 2013. Priyanka Chopra was in the lead role with Hrithik Roshan in this film.

During the film, Kangana's name was also in the news for her closeness to Hrithik Roshan.

The 2014 film Queen, which was directed by Vikas Bahl, established Kangana on a different name and position. The success of this film linked Kangana to different possibilities as an artist.

The film 'Queen' won Kangana the National Film Award and this was Kangana's second National Award which she received for fashion.

Kangana as Producer and Director

In 2020, Kangana established her own production house named Manikarnika Films and ventured into direction with her first film Emergency Under It.

In this film, Kangana is playing the role of India's first woman Prime Minister, Mrs. Indira Gandhi.

It is common for film stars to enter politics after a certain age, which has also been done by many actors and actresses in the past like Dream Girl Hema Malini, Jaya Bachchan, Shatrughan Sinha, Govinda, Sunil Dutt, Smriti Irani etc.

But after Smriti Irani at a young age, Kangana Ranaut is in the news recently.

She has been in political discussions for a long time but she is going to openly contest for MP by Bhartiya Janta Party(BJP) from Mandi in Himachal in the Lok Sabha elections this year i.e. 2024.

Kangana is going to start her political journey from here, now the future will decide how high her life will reach in this direction.
